ASHLAND PARKS Ashland County Parks District
Another reason Ashland is someplace special. One of the most rapidly growing parks and preservation programs in Ohio. Special features include rich history and untouched wildflowers at Crall Woods, which together with Sauers Farm apple orchard make up Pine Hill County Park. Byers Woods is a recovered landfill, and new Black Fork Bottoms has eco-specific specimens. Plentiful hiking, birding, programs, hunting and fishing options.


A SHARING PROGRAM Spread the Sharing This is sponsored by Shedd Spread Country Crock margarine. If you sign up, you can submit stories of sharing only 500 characters in length. Any little story of sharing will cause them to donate a meal, up to one million meals. They have about 15,000 at my last visit. The only personal data they require is your name and email address.
